  For many years I patronized Stop n Shop and I never had problem. Would occasionally use the deli. Picked up little things needed for the beach. Stuff like that. But recently I had a very bad experience with the store in ordering a keg for a party. There was a mix up over the size I needed. The tap they provided was broken and I wound up having to buy a (non-returnable) brand new one. No matter how long we poured, we only got cups that were 2/3rds foam. This whole fiasco wound up costing me over $200.00. I wrote a letter (on paper, no less) expressing my frustration with how this whole transaction went down. I hand delivered it to the manager They did not bother with the the courtesy of a reply. That's not how you treat your customers, not if you want them to come back.
